Job Description:

Finance Director, Town of Moncks Corner

 

Job duties:

 

Directs and manages all town accounting and financial records and reporting, accounting systems, financial policies and procedures, budgeting and grant compliance

Develops and implements policies and procedures related to the town's financial internal controls and record keeping

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (master's degree is  preferred)

Five years of experience in financial accounting with at least three years of governmental accounting; familiarity with governmental accounting standards, municipal government annual audit requirements and payroll administration; and experience with municipal budgeting and funds oversight

Certified government financial manager and certified public accountant is strongly preferred

Pay info: $59,177 – $70,026 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
