Job Description:

Budget Analyst (Budget Department): Under general supervision of the Budget Director, this position assists the Budget Department with developing the County annual operating and capital budget, as well as ensures proper management of revenues. Monitors the administration of the annual budget and works with the Finance Department and affected departments to resolve budgetary issues. This includes forecasting and cross departmental communication regarding changes in the policies or trends that would affect the frequency or amounts of revenue collected. Monitors the administration of capital projects and works with CIP Coordinator to resolve any project issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree in Accounting or closely related field
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in governmental accounting
• CGFO or CPFO preferred
• Experience with accounting software (Munis is preferred)
• Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

OPEN UNTIL FILLED
SALARY: $20.80 - $21.64 hrly (DOQ)
