Job Announcement

Controller

$2873.16/bi-weekly; 2080 hours/year

  • Bachelor's degree in finance accounting, financial management, or a related field supplemented by three (3) to five (5) years accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferable
  • Valid driver's license

The Controller performs, under limited supervsion, a wide variety of professional management duties in the coordination and supervision of City cash management, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, investment, procurement and financial reporting functions.  The Controller supervises the work of subordinate technical staff, and performs related duties as assigned.  The Controller plans, organizes and implement programs within major organizational policies, reporting progress to executive-level administration through reports and conferences.  Work includes professional financial planning, coordination, control and reporting tasks, as well as the supervision of support staff.  

Eligible candidates will successfully complete the selection process, a driver's license and crinimal background check, and pre-employment medical and psychological evaluaiton.
