Position: Company: The State Treasurer's Office promotes a culture that is a fast-paced environment that supports high performance, accountability, quality work product, accountability and collaboration. This position will manage assigned daily operations and processes of statewide accounting functions to include accounting operations, financial reporting, and policy and procedure development and improvements. This position will also ensure accurate completion of the account reconciliation process, financial reporting function and legislative monitoring. Agency Minimum Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Extensive knowledge of principles, theories and practices of accounting, banking, or management. Ability to assist with the planning and implementing of a complex financial management system. Ability to interpret state statutes, rules, and regulations. Ability to manage a professional accounting and finance staff. Ability to plan, organize, schedule, supervise and make decisions. Ability to engage in problem-solving strategies. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration. At least five (5) years of debt management experience and progressively responsible fiscal experience directing professional accounting, auditing, banking or finance employees.
At least three (3) years of supervisory experience is preferred.Preferred Qualifications

Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with staff, the public and the business community.
Must be able to lift and carry files, books and reports weighing up to 20lbs. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for intermittent periods of time. Must be able to reach, bend and twist at the waist to perform filing, desk work and operate general office equipment.Contact Information
