Job Description:
STAFF ACCOUNTANT* (Finance Department): The Staff Accountant works under general supervision performing various accounting tasks. Duties include managing financial transactions such as bank reconciliations for a number of departments/areas; processing purchases via P-Cards, requisitions, invoices, journal entries cash receipt entry, and accounts payable/accounts receivable maintenance. Provides fiscal administrative support in recording, summarizing and reporting fiscal activity; and maintains various financial records, spreadsheets and databases.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s Degree
- Four (4) years of related accounting work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recordkeeping, customer service, and financial principals
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
SALARY: $50,000 to $57,000 annually
