Job Description:
 

This class assists the County Administrator in implementing financial and administrative policies as established by the County Council, manages the financial risks of the County, performs financial planning and record keeping, develops recommendations for County programs, and provides coordinated leadership of Business Services (Purchasing, Budget, Finance and Business License), Assessor, Risk Management and Safety, IT, and Delinquent Tax office; acts as liaison  to Auditor, Register of Deeds and Treasurer. This class acts as a liaison to multiple departments; prepares administrative and fiscal reports as required. This class works within a general outline of work to be performed; develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, public administration, management, or business administration or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Requires at least six (6) years of experience in administration, accounting and management including supervisory experience; experience working in local government preferred.

Special Qualifications:

•   Requires a valid state driver’s license.
•   Certified Public Accountant preferred.
•   Certified Public Finance Officer preferred.

SALARY:  $163,656.37 - $180,022.01 Annually

Relocation Expense Assistance eligible.
