The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a Senior Grants Administrator administer and coordinates grant-funding programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer grant and alternative funding for Town projects; conduct research and match needs with grant resources; write grant applications and proposals; monitor compliance with awarded grant programs.
  • Search and apply for grants and alternate funding sources, and for various award programs; actively pursue grant funding to supplement Capital Improvement Program.
  • Manage and/or assist with various data collection & analysis such as census data.
  • Advise and inform various Town Boards, Commissions and Town Council on current issues, findings and recommendations related to grants and alternate funding sources.
  • Research, analyze and draft documents related to the Comprehensive Plan.
  • Collect, interpret and implement Comprehensive Plan and Town Council goals.
  • Serve as grant manager for various assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Grants Writing and Administration Experience.
  • Strong writing skills.
