Position: Company: The City of Orangeburg, South Carolina, is one of the state’s oldest inland communities and serves as the cultural and economic center of Orangeburg County. Orangeburg’s history dates back to the early 1700s. The city was named in honor of William IV, Prince of Orange, and officially incorporated in 1883. Over the centuries, Orangeburg evolved from a colonial settlement into a thriving regional center for commerce, education, and healthcare. The City is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This executive-level position is responsible for ensuring sound financial management, strategic fiscal planning, and effective leadership of the City’s Finance Department. The CFO reports directly to the City Administrator and works closely with department heads and external partners.
